Crystal House hosted its 4th annual Mental Health Awareness Event at Monument Park in Gardner on Thursday May 20, 2010. The event was a collaboration between Alternatives Unlimited, The Bridge of Central Mass., and The Department of Mental Health.

This event is referred to as "Lunch in the Park' and is meant to bring awareness to the community about mental heath issues and the resources available to individuals and their families who may be struggling.

It was a beautiful day filled with good food, activities, and live music. The band, "Tune Foolery", is made up of a group of very talented musicians who are all recovering from mental illnesses. It was a wonderful event for a very important cause.
