CLINICAL SERVICES
Alternatives offers a broad array of clinical services and supports to ensure that each individual’s physical, emotional, psychological and medical needs are met in a timely fashion. The clinical services team is composed of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Services Manager, the Health and Wellness Coordinator, and a Quality Improvement Manager. Together, they support programs by screening referrals, monitoring and managing risk, coordinating program quality improvement for the developmental disabilities programs, collaborating with health care providers, and by offering a variety of health and wellness resources, programs, consultation, and training.
Under the leadership of the clinical services team, Alternatives programs have access to a wide variety of licensed consultants in a number of disciplines including: Speech and Language, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Community Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, and Rehabilitation.
Alternatives also operates a monthly clinic at its Hopedale offices that provides people we serve and their staff direct access to a licensed psychiatrist for medication management and individually tailored consultation.
In addition, Alternatives collaborates with local mental health clinics to help the people we serve access the psychiatric and counseling services they require.
Alternatives also maintains the capacity to perform third-party billing in collaboration with our licensed provider affiliates.
